WINNIPEG SOLIDARITY ACTION DETAILS CONFIRMED 

 

Sisters, Brothers, and Friends,

 

While 239 of our Unifor Local 100 rail sector members strike at the Autoport in Halifax, CN has shamefully deployed the use of scab labour to preform their work.

 

Therefore, we are calling on all Winnipeg Unifor members and labour activists to take part in solidarity labour actions planned to show our striking members support, and to denounce the employers use of scab labour.

 

Additionally, we are asking Manitoba Locals and activists to also provide members.

 

Unifor will have a team going out on:

Date: Thursday, March 14th

Time: 6:00 pm

Date: Friday, March 15th  

Time: 7:30 am to 5:00 pm

If you can only make it for one day that is okay. The National will reimburse as per the Local Union Expenses policy attached.
